Bent over backwards to help us in everyway possible .
When the fishing was slow because of adverse Weather conditions 29/30 degrees
Chris went out of his way to change tactics to help put more fish on the bank ,
I have read loads of reviews about people who have visited Barbret lakes
and lots saying you arrive as guests and leave as Friends
this couldnt be more true ,, Two of the most genuine people you could ever want too meet , Nothing was any trouble for either of them .
Kate knowledge of food and homemade food was amazing plentyfull and very filling even if you had a small appetite like mine or a big appetite like my fishing companion . It set you up for the day .
Chris knowledge of the lake and fishing was second to know . What he didnt know wasnt worth knowing anyways .
My Pb was beaten on the very first serious session not once but three times in about 2 hours , Amazing quality of fish home grown
Chris and kate would go the extra mile , I have been to a few venues where the owners would greet you give you your Cabin / Lodge key and you wouldnt see them until you leave the following week .
They even cooked us both a BBQ on our last evening and we all sat chatting drinking and playing pool ( some of us badly )
We were reluctant to leave this beautiful place and our new made friends
but rest assured we will be back , Try and keep us away
