Arrived near to Francis’s house a lot earlier than the time stated, but he was more than happy to take us to the lake and get us settled in.
And what a lake, just the 2 of us so plenty of water to go at.
The main cabin was awesome, all the facilities you would need, I could have left most of my luggage behind!! The other cabin was perfect too, with electric and wifi
The weather was mainly hot and sunny with a north easterly wind, sometimes quite strong, and we had a horrendous thunderstorm on the last evening.
As for the fishing, we had 29 in total between us, best ones being 33.8 mirror, 29.8 common, 2 x 31 sturgeon and a single 11.4 cat
Total of 10 sturgeon, 6 common, 4 mirror,and the one cat.

Ensure you have a good length of tubing above the lead clip, but even so, a few sturgeon spun on the line and cut through due to the sharp dorsal fins
Francis visited several days, and was always very chatty and informative.
I would suggest taking your own landing net, always good to have a spare at the ready!!
I would definitely book this lake again.
