We were blown away with Chef de ville a beautiful tree lined lake with ample room in every swim.
Anothony our host was brilliant very knowledgeable of the lake and cooked spectacular meals which were delivered to our swims. He was always on hand if we needed him.
The fishing was incredible once we found the spots the fish obliged And when the grass carp were feeding you knew about it!
Six of us landed 79 fish between us and we lost quite a few due to hook pulls. Our biggest carp was a 44.2lb Mirror we also had another 40lber with back up 30s and 20s. We had a lot of grass carp, the biggest at 64lb and 60lb. They really give you the run around close in.
Overall we all throughly enjoyed ourselves the facilities were spot on, the lake is now weed free, and the supermarkets and town were a short drive down the road. One of the best venue in 16 years of fishing in france. We will be returning.
