We fished Etang 13 between the 27th March and the 4th April 2026. During this trip we caught 21 carp between the two of us fishing to the far Marginal shelf in the shallower water. A slow start to the week with a few bites Monday and Tuesday mainly in the low to mid doubles. The middle of the week saw x2 30s and a 42 for my brother. As the week went on it was again a lot of upper doubles until I also caught a 40lb and another low 30lb. The lake itself is absolutely gorgeous and its stand out feature was by far how SILENT it is at all times of day and night with the only sound being the birds! The facilities are basic but well thought out being really close to the swims meaning you can cook and shower whilst still being able to react to bites. The only thing I would say is that the average weight definitely isn’t 40lb or at least from our experience but that being said there are definitely a good head of lumps in the lake and all of the fish regardless of weight are real lookers and all put up a good fight when hooked. I would recommend this venue but would fish the edges of your spots to single out the bigger carp.
