Despite scorching heat and conditions that suggested anything but easy fishing, two couples who came with their children experienced an absolutely exceptional week at the Loft swim on Furet Lake. The results speak for themselves: over 60 fish caught, with more than fifteen weighing over forty-four pounds. Most of the catch ranged between around twenty-nine and forty-four pounds, and almost none were under twenty-two pounds. Having already fished here two years ago at the same time of year, they proved that the lake’s modest depth is no barrier to remarkable catches, even in the height of summer. They also praised the attentive service, comfort, and cleanliness of the accommodation—private bathrooms, TV, dishes, bed linen provided, everything spotless.
