Beautiful relaxing lake. Fish were only biting at night due to extreme heat. Biggest fish caught was 37.5lb on first night. Thereafter, all were in mid 20s. Weather broke on last day and had three bites within half an hour on 3 different rods. Caught a 37lb grass carp in the middle of the last night. A lovely lake that I would definitely like to return to. Travelled with friends and family and there was plenty for the non anglers to do within an hour’s drive. Hosts are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Tried their pizzas on the last night. Thoroughly recommend.
