Best week of the season so far for Mark & Jake. Temperatures where high teens/low twenties daytime and mid single figures before daybreak, which coupled with a mainly southerly based wind got the fish feeding. Mark started off with a PB common of 44lb 8oz, which he upped a further 3 times during the week with mirrors of 48lb, 50lb and 53lb 10oz, Not to be outdone on the PB front, Jake upped his PB twice with mirrors of 42lb and 46lb 8oz. Mark also had rhe privilege of landing one of the lakes A Team fiah, The Big Zip mirror at just shy of 47lb – what a fish! 16 fish between the lads involving 3 x 50’s, 6 x 40’s, 3 x 30’s & 4 x 20’s
