Open again after a 4 week shutdown ..it was insanely hot the first part ofvthe week at 37° but dropped to mid twentys the 2nd part. 36 fisjbout in total a couple of which were small carp that have started coming through now the catfish are being removed.
Ethan in peg 1 has the lion share of the fish with a lot of fish holding up in the shallows. He banked over twenty fish but was unlucky not to have any of the bigger fish with a 47lb grass carp his biggest with 6 more over thirty.
Adam.in peg 2 stepped in after someone dropped out and was off to a flyer in peg 2 with a 45lb mirror on his first carp fishing session. He also banked another 3 thirties and a 28lb grass carp. Poor George in.peg 3 another newcomer to carp fishing had a new pb thity then lost two good fish at the net before taking the the biggest of the week at 39lb. Roy in peg 4 had a brace of 38lb mirrors and 2 commons and another mirror but also lost a couple of big fish during his week. Its the first week thus year non of the forties have been out possibly the upper thitys that did come out have dropped weight after spawning.the small carp are being removed to the stockpond and the catfish are being removed as there caught.
