Well after a slow start the lake finally kicked in we welcomed 3 irish lads back on that were last here 4 years ago when anthony bagged a 62lb common. He was going to be lucky to beat that again but he did have hatrick of forties the fish are spawned out now and at there bottom weights and was unlucky not to have 5 as he had some high 30s too and got into double figures . Sean wasnt so lucky and his inexperiance and not listing cost him fish when he went into peg 2 rather than 1 where old anthony had a few . The guys swapped swims 3 times sean did bag a forty and 39lb fish though all be it on old anthonys rods .
Over 30 fish out and a over 20 fish lost unfortunatly with young anthony losing 12 fish 3 on the bounce on wednesday night. Not good but the carp fishin in ireland isnt brilliant and there not used to catching big carp or holding them as you see in the pictures.
