We welcomed 2 of our regulars steve and peter last week and they caught consistently over the week with peter bagging over 20 fish with over 10 x 30s coming from peg 3 after he grabbed 3 from 2 in the 1st 24 hours to 32lb unfortunately non of the bigger fished slipped up last week he also lost a few and bagged 4 descent catfish that wiped him out in the night.
Steve plumbed for peg 1 and had to wait 48 hours for his first fish but managed to get into double figures all be it with a couple of smaller fish that have come through. Fishing has been hard in france this year with the heat and thankfully it dropped from 40 degrees to low 30s. Peg 1 seems to have slowed this season after being the most consistent swim since I owned foxpool but he stuck at it with fish to 38lb and also had 10 doubles from our stockpond thats been moved into the new lake Chad’s pool which we hope to open 2028. We now have our mid season break before we welcome another 3 regulars on. In mid August.
