A tough week this week for the 2 regular angler on. A nightmare start after there plane hot diverted to bordeaux from limoges where strong winds stopped it from landing meaning they lost the first days fishing. Then heavy rain pumped through the water and Wednesday the lads didn’t fish in the driving rain. But the fish came steady all week when he had his rods in kicking off with a 37lb and 36lb mirrors then the big girls turned up with him landing 4 over 40lb ,Aaron started with a 30lb mirror off the monk in peg 2 then had a 39lb fish in open water . Stephen dropped in to fish 3 nights on his way back from fishing in Italy and managed a 53lb mirror and 33lb fish but dropped a couple before departing Thursday. Richard and Aaron bagged a few more fish upto Friday night then with the heavy rain decided not to fish Friday night and Saturday. The fish ate holding spawn now and a sustained period of hot weather will see them spawn.
