La Petite Martiniere – 18 April, 2026

15 May, 2026

This week we had regular guest Richard visit us for his 9th trip.
With bright sunny days, high pressure and cold nights forecast, it seemed like it might be a tough week.
Richard caught around 16 fish, the biggest of which were a common at 43lb 14oz and mirror going well over 40lb on the scales. Half a dozen 30’s were also landed by our guest, so I couldn’t turn down the invite to join him for a few evenings/nights.
I managed to get 5 carp on the bank, up to 38lb, so it turned out to be a very good week with some of the bigger residents showing they are ‘on the munch’.
