Never need an excuse to fish …. With Lisa’s brother Richard visiting us and no-one at the lake, we put bivvys up yesterday and the 3 of us (and Burt of course 🐶) stayed at the lake.
Mid evening we experienced a storm and a downpour which meant a lovely drop in temperature and an awakening for the fish putting them on the feed.
A nice alarm call at midnight from a great common and Richard was chuffed to see this for himself. His words “this has put the icing on my visit”!
Another 2 alarm calls at 1am and 3am but unfortunately both lost.
Great call at 5.30am with a stunning mirror.
