Carp up to 35lb ,fished off the island all week to get the shade because of 42 degrees heat.
A lot of big tench taking large boilies and pellets, bit of apain at times but nice fish.
Bring your own slings and cradles and nets because there are none here .
It says there are bigger fish in here but no sign. Great looking old mill for accommodation but no air con or wi fi.
Pool area great but pool water far from clear ,don’t know what has caused this maybe filter.
Two new barbecue units supposed to be delivered but never arrived so made use of the broken one.
All in all the accommodation is clean and nice,there was 8 of us and all of us would come again but maybe not when its hot.
Supermarkets and town 5 minutes away and miles of countryside if you like walking.
Saskia the lady we met on arrival was helpful and nice but remember you need to pay her the cleaning and laundry cost in cash on arrival.
